Our goal for zcash-haskell is to bring the Zcash ecosystem and the Haskell community closer by providing a set of tools that allows Haskell developers to build new products leveraging Zcash technology.
Following the announcement from the Electric Coin Company that the Orchard code base is being relicensed under the MIT license, we have decided to relicense the zcash-haskell library under the MIT License. We believe this license ensures that any extensions to the library remain available for the entire community while providing users a simple way of integrating it with their projects.
We are reviewing our options for the licensing of our other products as well and futher updates will come in 2024.
